Your Privacy and Data Rights

What rights you have over your data, and how to exercise them — in line with general data-protection principles (such as the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws where they apply to you).

Summary

Because MedHall retains no user content or personal information on its servers, most data-protection rights are automatically satisfied: there is nothing MedHall holds that you would need to access, correct, or delete. The limited data that exists lives on your own device and is fully under your control. Where a law gives you rights over data held by third parties (AI providers, hosting, or advertising partners), those rights are exercised with those parties directly.

Right of Access

You may request a confirmation of what personal data MedHall processes. The accurate answer is: none, beyond the standard technical logs kept by the hosting platform (Vercel) under its own policies, to which MedHall has no direct access. Contact us if you want this confirmed in writing.

Right to Correction

Since MedHall stores no profile or account data, there is nothing to correct on MedHall's side. Data on your own device can be corrected or reset by you at any time (for example, changing your chosen name in a study room or clearing your browser storage).

Right to Deletion

You can delete everything related to your use of MedHall yourself, without contacting anyone: press Disconnect in any tool, clear your browser storage (localStorage, IndexedDB, sessionStorage), and delete third-party cookies. Because MedHall retains nothing server-side, a deletion request to MedHall has nothing to act on; we will still acknowledge requests and, where applicable, help you identify where data may exist with third parties.

Right to Restriction and Objection

Because MedHall does not process your content for any purpose — no profiling, no advertising targeting based on your site usage, no automated decisions about you — there is no processing to restrict or object to on MedHall's side. If you object to a third party's processing (for example, an AI provider's retention), contact that party directly.

Data Portability

The data related to your use of MedHall is already on your device and in a common format (browser storage). You can copy or export it yourself at any time. MedHall holds no data that would need to be exported.

Automated Decision-Making

MedHall does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. AI tools generate educational content on demand in your browser; no profile, score, or evaluation about you is stored or used to make decisions about you.

Withdrawing Consent

MedHall does not rely on consent to process any of your content, because it processes none. Where third parties rely on consent (for example, Google's personalized advertising consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), you can withdraw or manage consent through their own controls, including Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com).

Complaints to a Supervisory Authority

Where applicable law gives you the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, you may do so at any time — for example, to the data-protection authority in your country or region. We ask that you first contact us so we have the opportunity to address your concern; this does not limit your right to complain directly.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Most rights are exercised directly by you on your device (Disconnect, clearing browser storage). For any other request, contact: ahmeddelwaan@gmail.com. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law, verify requests in good faith, and never charge a fee for a lawful request.
